She does, but mentioning that to Silence would bring up all kinds of questions (like “Why haven’t I met him?”) especially since Whateley is currently cluttering up her apartment.

Lol, I love the disconnect between ‘we managed to escape’, which makes them sound like helpless innocent fugitives (probably how Silence imagines them, idenfying with them through memories of his own flight from the orphanage) and, well, the reality

He’s just getting the “audio.” As the audience in the know, we’re privileged to her visual memories, but poor Silence doesn’t know any of that.

And she’s certainly making it sound a lot simpler than we know it was!
