Chapter 14 – Page 10

Silence isn’t letting this go as easily as Carter hoped. Then again, Whateley does have a point.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Updates will be once a week (Monday only) for this week and next. Mainly because I’ve run out of buffer while trying to get my next book finished, and it’s not likely I’ll have time to work on the comic this week, either. I know the timing could be better, given developments in the story, but it could also be a lot worse. ;)

Or you can keep searching, and go mad.

Or you can bring that thought through to its logical conclusion.

I’m suprised he didn’t get “it” when carter started defending herself on previous page.

Come on, how could anyone NOT trust Whateley in panel 2? He looks so genial!

Also: best of luck on completing your new book.

Um, Shoggoths are supposed to be smarter than humans, Always. Mindblowingly smarter. If they like Silence, they take care of him, right? Whateley thinks he’s Carter’s pet human.
So he’ll soothe him, distract him, give him a biscuit, use the human side to find out what he needs. Last I heard, Whateley thinks Tilly is the expendable one.

Is Silence really human? consider his hair . . .

until I saw the comparison picture of the shogoths and their human hosts, I figured Silence’s hair reflected an artistic style – now I wonder . . .

Goood question . . . and now he has those tattoos, and has memorized the words he refuses to say . . . what fun to be young and not know your full potential!

More and more curious about Dad and Pop; was there a surrogate mom or a lab or what . . . exactly what does “physicist” entail as a career . . .
