I always feel like its chily on the space station, because everything’s stone and metallic. And yet the characters walk around in T-shirts and no-one seems to have blankets.
Silence did have a blanket back at the beginning of chapter 3. Of course he was also sleeping in the nude.
In my head, it’s probably right on the edge of being comfortable for most people, but as with all large structures, some spots are warmer or cooler. And the ventilation system in the Lowers probably isn’t all that well maintained, so you could end up with unexpected variations.
Carter and Whateley care less about the temperature than a human would, being comfortable in a wider range of temps and a tolerance for cold that would kill most creatures.
Woah, whateley really has some extragavagant taste in clothing. Woot, really, he’s my favorite character in the whole comic! Also (yes, I have read Lovecraft’s masterpieces and find it totally awesome that you referred to them in your comic! =) ), wasn’t it ‘Nyarlathotep’ and not ‘Nyarlahotep’? Just being curious…. =]
Whateley’s outfit is so eye-searing, he needs sunglasses to avoid being blinded by the color contrast. As for Carter, she needs to hire an interior decorator. Doesn’t she know that the prison look is out??
And regarding the spelling of Nyarlathotep, I wouldn’t beat yourself up over it. After all, our favorite monster-pharaoh is said to have a thousand faces and a thousand names, so I don’t think a slightly alternative spelling is beyond the bounds of plausibility.
I am totally digging that white coat! He is such the fashionista!

Yeah I believe it’s Nyarlathotep, with the ‘t’. Wonder what Carter is going to show him. Must be something from the previous scene, methinks.
P.S. Oh, and by the way, don’t forget to vote for Riven Sol:

Just need a few more votes to get into the top 200!
Damn it, I even looked up the freaking spelling just to make sure and yet still managed to mistype it. Going to go bang my head off the wall now. Sob.

Maybe she should ask Whateley to help her decorate the place.
