Hmm. I wonder if Amelia will be Carter’s undoing eventually. She recognizes the shape-shifters, and reacts negatively to them. If her behaviour leads Silence to certain conclusions about Carter, things could easily blow up.

I still think Amelia is scarier than any tentacled monster there might be lurking around. I feel sorry for her but she’s still very scary…
