    I wonder why they let Lipé back in the dorms in the first place… surely they must know that letting rumors spread around in the dorms will eventually incite some kind of rebellion or escape attempt.

    Maybe they’re so arrogant they don’t even think about it. They seem to treat the orphans, who are adolescents, as if they have the mental capacity of 10 or younger.

    I can see it now, as they shove Dominic into an airlock and open the outer door: “You are the weakest link! Goodbye!”
