Weird, when I read it, my brain registered it as “truthful” even though my eyes saw “truthly”. Seems my brain is a bit overly eager at interpreting what it *thinks* the page says, even if the page doesn’t actually say that.
Uh oh… what is she going to say next?? Is she going to own up to being an eldritch monstrosity from the black gulfs beyond the stars? Silence is going to take another hit to his sanity…. :-/
Time for a big reveal? You’ve coined a new word, too – truthly?
Derp, that should be “truthful.”

At least I’m not the only one.
Oh crap, I’m not so sure Silence is going to take that well considering his experiences.
That depends on how truthful she intends to be.
So … is the statement “I haven’t been entirely truthful with you” going to be the most truthful thing she’s going to say in this conversation?

Next? “But I have a question first…how do you feel about tentacles?”
That mental image made me snort my coffee.
It would be hilarious if Carter turned into “Barter” right here, right now. I can only imagine what Silence’s expression would be…
LMAO…yeah, that would be a bit of a shocker at this point!
“I haven’t been entirely truthful with you… I’m actually a man!”
But only occasionally, so it’s all good, right?!
can’t wait to see what she’s going to reveal, and how much… and how Silence is going to take it!!
Ouch, even if she tones it way down (or lies about the fundamentals altogether) the mere fact that she had an agenda all along is going to hurt Silence right in the trust issue. Go ahead, Carter, I can’t wait to see how you deliver this one. If you manage to finish your exposé without Silence bailing – or ending up a nervous wreck – then your tongue is as flexible as your tentacles
